Dana Colarocco (she/they) is passionate about providing young people from historically marginalized communities with the necessary resources to visualize their full potential and pursue their ambitions. Dana currently serves as the inaugural Corporate Relations Manager at Leadership Brainery, where they work towards building and maintaining interdependent relationships with corporate stakeholders who are dedicated to helping LB build a more equitable world.

 

Dana has a strong background in sales and recruiting, which helps her understand the needs of our corporate partners. Originally from New Jersey, Dana is a co-founder of a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering NJ-based high school students who would otherwise struggle to access team building, public speaking, and leadership training. Currently, they serve on the Board of Directors for Torch Leadership Academy as the People Director.

 

During their undergraduate studies, Dana served as the President of American University’s Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Honor Society, IOTA IOTA IOTA. She completed two capstone theses, one on the discourse utilized by anti-feminist groups to undermine marginalized communities, and the other analyzing lesbian, gay, and bisexual disclosure of their identities to healthcare providers. Dana holds a dual undergraduate degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Political Science.
